Candles for Las Vegas, Poured in the Maryland Mountains

Poured at a candle bar inside an 1897 hotel in the western Maryland mountains, boxed on Main Street, and delivered to Las Vegas, NV.

Our hand-poured soy-blend candles ship from Frostburg, Maryland to Las Vegas homes by USPS, usually in three to five days. Las Vegas is a city of interiors — 110 degrees outside has a way of making the case — and the stucco courts of Summerlin, the newer builds out in Henderson, and the lofts around the Downtown Arts District all share the same sealed, cooled, dust-defying domestic life. Desert air is honest air: scent carries cleanly in it, with no humidity to muddy the profile, so a good candle works harder here than it would almost anywhere else. And in a town where half the population works nights, 'evening' is whenever you say it is. Light a candle at nine in the morning after a shift; we will not tell anyone. Each candle is $17, poured by hand at our candle bar inside the historic Hotel Gunter, and boxed up on Main Street before it crosses the country to you.

Three pours we'd send to Las Vegas

ChampagnePear and white blossom in a city where celebration is the local industry. This is the quiet, at-home version — no bottle service required.

Fresh LinenCotton and green, two things the Mojave declines to provide. In a sealed, air-conditioned room it reads like a window you are finally allowed to open.

CaramelBurnt sugar and vanilla for the after-shift hours — a warm, dessert-case scent for whenever your evening happens to fall.

The six house scents run $17 apiece, and the shop boxes them as flights of three and crates of six. Beyond the house line, the full collection holds 668 candles, melts, sprays, and gifts for Las Vegas shelves — and gift cards land by email within the hour when choosing is the hard part.

Questions from Las Vegas

How long does shipping to Las Vegas take?

Three to five days by USPS ground from Frostburg, Maryland. Las Vegas sits at the far end of our western window, but USPS makes the trip reliably.

Where are these candles made?

They are hand-poured in a soy blend at The Pour House Candle Bar, inside the historic Hotel Gunter in Frostburg, Maryland — a mountain town in western Maryland. House scents are $17 each.

Will a candle melt on my doorstep in a Vegas summer?

Soy wax softens in serious heat, and a July porch in Las Vegas qualifies. Bring the box indoors promptly and any softening settles back down; the candle burns none the worse for it.
